A 'normal' game

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Michael Carrick has stressed that the lads will try to treat Sunday's clash against Blackburn as a 'normal' game.

Our European destiny rests with two results on the Premiership's final day.

We have to hope that Manchester City beat Middlesbrough by a few goals as possible and then overcome Rovers by two more goals - for example, if City win 1-0, we need to win 3-0 - to finish in seventh spot. Middlesbrough will take it if they avoid defeat at City.

"We're treating it like a normal game, we have to," said Michael. "You can't go out and try to score four or five goals.

"We won't go out gung-ho and throwing players forward from the off but if we do manage to get an early goal, anything could happen, but it would be wrong of us to go in trying to score goals as quickly as possible because it could all backfire on us.

"We have to win first and that's all we can do. After that, know knows? If it all works out it will be great going into next season."
