A job well done

English Barclays Premiership

George Graham is delighted with the PR job his team have done in Scandinavia. Six days and two matches into the pre-season tour and the trip has been a success both on and off the field.

On the field, we have professionally dispatched of Swedes Skelleftea and Finish outfit Tervarit while off the field, friendly local faces have been met with smiles aplenty from the Premiership stars they worship. It can all end on a high with up to 7,000 fans expected to watch the final match against Bodens FC on Monday.

Graham said: "With all the teams I've managed, we've always come up here to Sweden or Norway, this time Finland as well, and we always get a good reception because they have a certain love for the English game. There is a bond between the Scandinavian countries, especially Norway, and England.

"We're well received here and I make sure the lads do a good PR job. It's good for us as a club and not just Tottenham but for English football as well that we take time out to mix with the people that watch us train and give plenty of autographs, plenty of photographs. It's an excellent PR job."
