Jamie, 18, made his first appearance in the Premiership as substitute against Liverpool on Sunday and set up Teddy's late goal in the 3-2 defeat.
Teddy has done just about the lot in 20 years in the game so who better to run the rule over the new kid on the block?
"I think he's a great prospect," said Teddy at Spurs Lodge. "He's definitely one for the future and it might just be the near future.
"He's got an eye for a goal, a nice touch and looked lively when he came on against Liverpool.
"He set up my goal so he's got in there, got involved and it's a shame we couldn't get another one and perhaps him get a chance to tuck one away.
"He wants to play and wants to score goals. He's got a lovely attitude."
Teddy Sheringham has described his young prodigy Jamie Slabber as 'a great prospect'.
