Over 300 guests attended a dinner, organised by DW promotions, to celebrate the double-winning midfielder's service to the Club.
Diners were treated to a traditional English menu with a head table including some of the greatest name to wear the Tottenham colours - Pat Jennings, Phil Beal, Cliff Jones, Tommy Harmer, Terry Naylor, Cliff Jones and Bobby Smith.
Tommy Docherty was also on hand to speak during the dinner and further entertainment was provided by comedian Harry Scott. Guests were able to ask questions to the top table about their playing years, and were also given the chance to bid for sporting memorabilia through an auction and raffle held by the organisers, and £2,500 was raised for charity.
Mackay was undoubtedly one of the best midfielders to play at the Club, amassing some of the greatest honours that can be achieved in football.
A linchpin in the double-winning side, Mackay's outstanding contribution in his 364 Spurs appearances and 63 goals is one that will be etched in the history of the Club.
The Whites suite at White Hart Lane recently played host to one of our greatest legends Dave Mackay, at an evening with Dave Mackay and Friends.
