A day to remember for Junior fans

One Hotspur Junior members were today (Tuesday 3 April) given the opportunity of a lifetime as we held our annual Junior Fan Forum at the Training Centre, attended by Lucas Moura and Heung-Min Son.

A competition had been held among Junior members to provide the most creative and interesting questions for the players to answer. After an overwhelming amount of responses, 40 lucky winners were given the chance to attend.

The day began with an opportunity for the excited youngsters and their families to watch the first team train before the opportunity for pictures and autographs.

Visitors then took part in a special quiz before Sonny and Lucas made their way into the press auditorium to field the winning questions. The children fired a range of tricky questions, from 'what are you most scared of?', 'if you were invisible for the day what would you do?' and 'who is the funniest player in the team?'.

This year, for the first time, three international junior fans from Sweden, Switzerland and Ireland dialled into the Q&A via video conference and had the opportunity to speak to the players.

Speaking after the event, Heung-Min Son said: “It’s a great opportunity for our young fans to come to the Training Centre, watch us train and ask us the questions they have always wanted to ask.

"It was a really enjoyable experience for us and it’s great to be able to give something back to our fans of the future.”
