Ahead of our first Barclays Premier League game of the season at The Lane, the Club would like to thank all those fans who responded so positively last season by changing the way they travel to the stadium for our matches by leaving their cars at home.
Since the introduction of the London Borough of Haringey's match day Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ), the Club has been working in partnership with Transport for London, National Express East Anglia (NEEA), London Underground, Arriva and the London Borough of Haringey to help fans adapt their match day travel plans.
These working relationships have already led to a number of positive results including a new special match day timetable created by NEEA to support fans seeking to travel by train to The Lane for home matches.
There has been a hugely positive response from the fans, since the introduction of the new timetable, and we appreciate the effort all the fans have made to change their travel behaviour as they have let the trains take the strain.
The timetables have seen an increase in both frequency and length of trains out of Liverpool Street Station, the UK's busiest railway station, running to and from both White Hart Lane and Northumberland Park Stations.
We are extremely grateful to National Express East Anglia for their assistance during this period and for working hard to allow more and more fans to travel to The Lane by train.
The Club is also delighted that as a result of the close working relationship it has built up with TfL, there will be more positive changes on the way during the coming months including major improvements to bus timetables, journeys and routes, better travel planning and the extension of Oyster cards to White Hart Lane Station during next year.
This website now carries comprehensive travel directions and helpful information prior to every home game updating fans on the latest travel news with web traffic proving that fans are utilising the information to help plan their journeys to The Lane.
Tottenham Hotspur and its specialist Transport Consultant will continue to work closely with all our travel partners, the Police Services and the local council to ensure that improvements can continue to be made so that the travel needs of all spectators are supported.
