Mikey Moore and Leo Black were in action for England Under-19s during their 2-1 defeat to Portugal in Marbella on Wednesday evening.
Mikey started and played most of the game before being substituted with just over a quarter-of-an-hour remaining, while Leo came off the bench in the 65th minute as the Young Lions tried to claw back a two-goal first-half deficit.
Ethan Nwaneri did manage to pull one back for England with a penalty shortly after Leo’s introduction, but the earlier efforts of João Simões and Gil Martins proved enough for Portugal to claim victory in the end.
England Under-19s will also face the Netherlands and France in Marbella over the coming days.
