2017-18 in numbers - Harry's goal-den season

Harry Kane racked up some impressive numbers in 2017-18 - performances rewarded with the England captaincy for this summer's World Cup.

They key number is 41 - 41 goals in all competitions - his best haul so far and the most in a season since Clive Allen's record 49 in 1986-87.

Academy graduate Harry, still only 24, began the season on 99 goals for us and ended with 140, sixth in our all-time goalscoring list. He also overtook Teddy Sheringham's 97 goals to become our all-time record goalscorer in the Premier League and the first Spur to 100 goals in the Premier League.

He reached the 30-goal mark in the Premier League for the first time with two goals against Leicester City on the final day.

41 GOALS

Harry's 41 goals is the highest of his career since breaking through in 2014-15. He's only the fourth Spur to hit 40-plus goals in a season, his 41 the third-highest individual total in our history. He's also only the third Spur to score 30-plus goals in three different seasons. He's now on 140 goals for the Club in 213 appearances.

A FEW FINAL STATS...

- Harry is only the third player to score 25-plus in three-successive Premier League seasons after Alan Shearer (four seasons) and Thierry Henry (three seasons).

- Harry has scored 59 goals in his last 61 starts in the Premier League.

- Harry is the first player to score hat-tricks in back-to-back games on two occasions in the Premier League - he did it against
Leicester and Hull in the final week of 2016-17 and again against Burnley and Southampton on 23/26 December.

- Harry was named EA SPORTS Premier League Player of the Month in December, equalling Steven Gerrard's all-time tally of six awards.
