1Goal for Crouchy

Peter Crouch may not have got his hands on the World Cup this summer but he is still helping to achieve something special - education for every child in the world.

Our striker is an ambassador for 1GOAL, the global campaign that is calling on world leaders to provide education for the 72 million out-of-school children worldwide by 2015.

Crouchy pledged his support for 1GOAL back in April, along with the club and team-mates Benoit Assou Ekotto, Wilson Palacios and Luka Modric, and since then over 12 million people around the world have signed up to the campaign.

Football legends like Pele, Sir Bobby Charlton and Zinedine Zidane are all part of the 1GOAL Squad; the team of fans and footballers from clubs across the globe united to show their support for education.

You can help right now by joining the 1GOAL Squad. If you're on Facebook, sign up and customise your own shirt HERE or CLICK HERE...

Over 8,000 schools in the UK have recently taken part in a 1GOAL - Send My Friend to School initiative, and with over one million people signing up to support 1GOAL every week, it is the biggest cause-related football campaign in history.
