Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

FA PREMIER ACADEMY LEAGUE

Spurs U17s 2-1 Arsenal

Jimmy Neighbour described Saturday's encounter as 'a credit to Academy football' as his Under-17s toppled all-conquering Arsenal.

With play generally even between two good footballing sides, Michael Malcolm's tenacity led the vital opening goal after 36 minutes as he chased a lost cause with the goalkeeper, charged down his clearance and watched in delight as the rebound went straight in.

The second half followed a similar pattern before Mario Noto grabbed the second just after the hour, cutting in from the left flank before sliding the ball home with his right foot.

Arsenal hit back with 10 minutes left but the defence remained in control and no further chances were forthcoming.

Jimmy enthused: "It was excellent - a very high standard game between two sides who played very, very good football. It was a credit to the Academy and I'm delighted for the lads."

Spurs U17s: Rutherford, Tyrie, McKie, Barnett, Dobson, Black, Noto, Wetner, Malcolm, Yeates, Ford. Unused subs: Price, Eade, Hicks, Jenkins, Ifil.
