We are delighted to announce that Hugo Lloris has signed a new contract with the Club, which will run until 2022.
Captain of Spurs and France and recently nominated for the Balon d’Or award, Hugo joined us on transfer deadline day in August, 2012, from Olympique Lyonnais where he had three times been named Ligue 1’s Goalkeeper of the Year.
Since then, he's appeared 189 times for us in all competitions and has played a key role in helping us develop a reputation for having one of the best defences in the Premier League.
Hugo proudly led France to the final of Euro 2016 this summer, having played 37 of 38 league games last season as we achieved our highest-ever Premier League finish and conceded just 35 goals, our best defensive record in the Premier League era.
