Harry’s 150 goals in the Premier League - the stats

Harry Kane became only the 10th player in Premier League history to score 150 goals-plus in the competition with his winner at West Brom on Sunday.

The striker reached the milestone in 218 matches (215 for Spurs, three for Norwich City), third fastest behind Sergio Aguero (217) and Alan Shearer (212). He reached the top 10 and drew level with legendary former striker Les Ferdinand (149) with his opener against Brighton last week and is now level on 150 with Michael Owen. Another Spurs legend, Jermain Defoe, is next in his sights on 162.

In terms of Spurs, Harry is our all-time top goalscorer in the Premier League, and the only Spur to reach 100 goals in the competition – Teddy Sheringham hit 97, while Jermain Defoe and Robbie Keane also made it into the 90s for the Club.

Harry became only third player to score 200-plus goals for Spurs in all competitions when he headed home against Ludogorets last week. He’s also only the third player to score 150-plus league goals for us, going all the way back to our first season in the Football League in 1908/09 - all-time great Jimmy Greaves leads the way on 220 league goals for us with Bobby Smith, spearhead of our double-winning team of 1960/61, second on 176.
