It’s May, 1966, and our squad assembles at White Hart Lane before setting off on a gruelling end of season tour to Bermuda, North America and Mexico.
The 1965-66 season hadn’t been a great campaign for us as we finished eighth in the Division One table and had been knocked out of the FA Cup at the fifth round stage at Preston.
But things were improving as Bill Nicholson re-build his side and we would win the cup the following term and improve our final league position to third, level on points with runners-up Nottingham Forest and four points behind champions Manchester United.
