Two goals in the opening 15 minutes of the Championship Play-Off Final on May 25 saw Norwich City promoted back to the Premier League at the first time of asking. Having been relegated from the top flight the previous campaign, Cameron Jerome and Nathan Redmond scored for the Canaries in their 2-0 win over Middlesbrough at Wembley Stadium. It was the perfect finish to an excellent season for the Carrow Road faithful.

Norwich beat fellow promoted side Watford 3-0 in the opening month of the campaign, while they also drew 1-1 with eventual Championship winners Bournemouth. The result from August their supporters would most have enjoyed, however, was a 1-0 win at old rivals Ipswich Town on August 23, 2014.
