Edgar Davids’ solitary goal in a Spurs shirt is still a fond memory for the legendary Dutch international.

The midfielder’s arrival at White Hart Lane in the summer of 2005 represented something of a coup for the Club with the then 32-year-old having accumulated multiple honours in his career – including three consecutive Eredivisie titles and the 1995 Champions League crown with Ajax, a trio of Serie A championships with Italian side Juventus and the distinction of representing the Netherlands at the 1998 World Cup finals in France.
