20/Twenty with Tom Carroll

A quick chat about the early days and influences of our current squad. This month: TOM CARROLL.

twenty-twenty-2-september

What was your favourite subject at school?

It’s an obvious one but I’d have to say PE.

Do you recall your first day there?

I must have been relaxed about it because it doesn’t stick out in my memory. It was at Leavesden Green JMI School and I enjoyed my time there. I then moved on to Paramiters School in Garston. It was a very sporty school which obviously suited me. I was the Hertfordshire cross-country champion and the Watford district cross-country and 1,500 metres champion.

Hobbies as a child?

I used to fish quite a bit when I was younger. My older brother Matt got me into it and I still go sometimes with my mates, it’s a nice way to relax.
