    Senior eCommerce Marketing Executive

    Tottenham Hotspur Football Club

    The Club operates out of multiple sites, including its headquarters at Lilywhite House in N17 and its Warehouse in Ponders End, across which this role will be jointly based.

    We are searching for a Senior eCommerce Marketing Executive to help support diverse marketing activities which will capitalise on an upcoming period of expansion driven by the construction of our new stadium.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of retail marketing campaigns activation across core Club online channels, to include, social media and email marketing. They will also ensure creative asset generation and campaign activation across the eCommerce store and wider external online marketing channels.

    To ensure retail marketing campaigns are delivered effectively and to the highest of standards across the eCommerce platform, Club and wider online marketing channels. 

    To assist with the constant enhancement and improvement of the Club’s marketing efforts while ensuring cohesiveness between eCommerce and Marketing initiatives.



    • Support Retail Marketing Manager on digital strategy for retail campaigns/trading calendar.
    • Responsible for activation of retail campaigns in all online Club channels.
    • Responsible for collating and reporting weekly performance statistics for retail campaigns across all online Club channels, using these figures to influence future digital activity.
    • Responsible for building, testing, deploying and analysing email strategy for retail campaigns and wider Club campaigns which include retail.
    • Harness CRM system data to maximise online retail marketing opportunities, identifying target groups for each campaign.
    • Monitor ROI and KPIs for the different online channels where each campaign is activated.
    • Work alongside the e-Commerce operations, marketing and content teams to set-up and deliver digital marketing improvements, including best practice on campaign activation and data-capture opportunities.
    • Work with members of the Retail Marketing team, acting as a brand guardian in terms of look and feel of all retail online communications as well as tone of voice of copy on marketing communications.
    • Oversee delivery of marketing assets for the ecommerce platform and for wider eCommerce channels to ensure ‘freshness’ (management of creative assets for the homepage, category landing pages and web photography).
    • Keep up-to-date with changes and advances in digital, advising on new channels and approaches to adopt.

    • Degree educated in a relevant subject (or equivalent industry experience)
    • Demonstrable eCommerce or digital marketing experience, within a fast paced environment
    • Experience working for a multichannel retailer is desirable
    • Experience using email marketing automation solutions (knowledge of ESP platforms such as dotMailer, Campaign Monitor or Exact Target is advantageous)
    • A working understanding of data systems and CRM
    • In-depth and proven understanding of the customer journey through online channels
    • Able to analyse and interpret volume data in order to make informed and effective marketing decisions
    • A keen eye for design and ability to use Photo Editing packages such as Photoshop
    • Good knowledge of digital marketing channels including organic & paid search, SEO and affiliates
    • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS is desirable
