    Partnerships Manager

    Tottenham Hotspur has an impressive and growing family of high profile commercial partners, which are greatly valued by the Club for their support and significant investment. In return, the primary role of the Partnerships team is to ensure the maximum delivery of value and business benefits to the Club’s partners through the successful activation of partner rights.

    As the Club’s partner portfolio grows, we are seeking an experienced, skilled and ambitious Partnerships Manager. Based at the headquarters in Lilywhite House (N17), the successful candidate will be responsible for first class day-to-day delivery of contractual obligations to a number of club partners, including the Stadium Naming Rights Partner.

    The position may include international travel and the candidate should be prepared to work a number of matchdays per season, which may involve working some irregular hours (e.g. evenings, weekends and/or Bank Holidays).

    JOB PURPOSE

    To plan, develop and execute impactful activation plans for Partners, using their contracted assets to deliver tangible results on their brands and businesses.

    To build strong relationships with all Club departments and external Partner stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of activity and partnership rights.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Deliver first class day-to-day service to all Club partners including the delivery of all contractual obligations
    • Provide first point of contact relationship management to Club partners
    • Work with partners to create marketing and partnership activation plans
    • Oversee and deliver all partner branding at the Club and on Club communication channels including the Club’s LED advertising system
    • Implement research and measurement programmes that demonstrate return on partner investment and to develop and deliver to each partner on a monthly basis, reports that illustrate their ROI
    • Support the Senior Partnerships Manager in planning and implementing the department budget
    • Support on an on-going basis, the Business Development Department by supplying them with case studies highlighting how the Club delivers value to partners
    • Oversee the relationship between the partner and all other departments within the Club
    • Maintain a thorough understanding of the sponsorship marketplace to ensure the Club is fully informed of industry trends and well placed to maximise related opportunities
    • Manage the invoicing process of all Club partners
    • Manage and deliver against agreed departmental budgets

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Significant relevant experience within a sponsorship environment at a rights holder, partner or agency
    • A successful track record of delivering exceptional value for a recognised and established brand
    • Account management experience
    • Experience of managing a rights delivery programme, preferably in a sporting rights environment
    • Proven communication skills and ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients
    • Applied understanding of brand marketing and marketing principles, to include within the digital and social media sphere
    • An in-depth understanding of the commercial landscape within the sport and entertainment sector
    • A demonstrable record of delivering effective marketing campaigns
    • A passion for sport and entertainment
    • Experience proofreading and handling legal contracts
