    Stadium Logistics & Cleaning Manager

    The Club is searching for an experienced Logistics & Cleaning Manager to oversee operations at its new stadium and its headquarters in Lilywhite House (N17). The successful candidate will ensure that both sites are kept and operated to best-in-class standards and run with the utmost operating efficiency through the proactive and swift resolution of wide-ranging logistical issues. A core part of their role will be to manage and direct external contractors (such as cleaning and waste management companies), and they will hold accountability for the smooth running of all logistical moves within the new stadium, particularly logistics surrounding the ground-breaking moving pitch which will be a unique feature of the new stadium.

    The position requires management of a large in-house logistics/distribution team and will involve working irregular hours (e.g. evening, weekends and Bank Holidays) so a flexible candidate is sought.

    Job Purpose

    To ensure highest standards of presentation, maintenance and compliance at the Club’s new stadium and Lilywhite House headquarters.

    To oversee logistics of new stadium and Lilywhite House operations, with a particular focus on logistical moves and external contractor management.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage cleaning specification, schedules and operations, to include day to day cleaning, event cleaning and specialist cleaning, ensuring a high level of service and delivering ‘best in class’
    • Hold responsibility for the preparation and presentation of the stadium and Lilywhite House at all times
    • Oversee cleaning providers’ contract and service delivery, ensuring resources are utilised in the most appropriate and timely fashion, including staff hours and cleaning equipment
    • Drive efficiency through innovative cleaning techniques and technology
    • Manage the cleaning budget, providing insightful analysis and reporting
    • Develop SLAs and KPIs with service providers, carry out weekly audits
    • Ensure safe working practices that are compliant with all relevant legislation
    • Manage waste operations, including day to day waste removal and event waste removal from the stadium and Lilywhite House
    • Manage waste strategy through our waste provider, ensuring that sustainable waste objectives are achieved
    • Manage waste compliance in line with the Club’s environmental policy
    • Lead on recruitment, training and development of the in house logistic team
    • Hold responsibility for all logistics within the stadium and Lilywhite House, ensuring the assets are in the correct location and position at all times
    • Hold overall responsibility for movement of the innovative pitch and pitch grow lighting systems within the stadium, ensuring it is safely managed into position and handed over the grounds team once it is location
    • Project manage the logistical moves for all events within the Stadium and Lilywhite House
    • Hold responsibility for the equipment utilised within the logistics department, ensuring it is maintained and meets all statutory and legislative requirements

    Skills and Experience 

    • Excellent administration and orientation skills
    • Strong Project Management Skills
    • Strong and proven line management skills
    • Sound knowledge of Health and Safety
    • Experienced working with CAFM systems
    • High degree of experience in managing cleaning and waste management contracts
    • Ability to demonstrate delivering ‘best in class’ cleaning and waste management services to large footfall events and iconic buildings
    • Event management experience is essential, within Stadia and/or Arena context
    • Health and Safety trained to IOSH level
    • BIC’s knowledge (trainer level desirable)
