Volunteering is fundamental to the development and sustainability of Tottenham Hotspur Foundation. For this reason, the Foundation prides itself on the wide range of opportunities available across the organisation.
In 2012, the Foundation achieved the Investors in Volunteering Mark and continues to work alongside local volunteering centres and other local and national partners to ensure that volunteering remains at the heart of the organisation.
Tottenham Hotspur Foundation provides volunteering opportunities through our wide range of projects and programmes using our core themes of Sport, Health, Education, Community Development and Equalities & Inclusion, ensuring that all of our volunteers gain a wide range of educational and social experiences.
The Foundation encourages project participants to volunteer as and when appropriate to enable them to access a broad range of opportunities to gain leadership skills and qualifications.
As an organisation that puts people first, we believe that our participants benefit from increased levels of self-esteem and confidence through volunteering with us in addition to gaining a range of life skills.
We are proud that many of our volunteers have gone on to work for the organisation or have continued to volunteer with us and other local organisations.
Examples of the roles that we have recruited in the past are:
• Classroom Support• Social & Youth worker backgrounds• Disability Equality Work• Community Health Ambassadors• Media Support• Sports Coaches• Women and Girls' Assistant Coaches (all activities)• Multi-sports volunteers• Admin Support• Photography• Health Checks
How can you get involved as a Volunteer?
The Foundation recruits new volunteers by running specific volunteering recruitment campaigns as and when we require volunteers for our projects and programmes. All adverts are posted on the Careers page on the Tottenham Hotspur website.
