Suzi has been volunteering for the Foundation since September 2010. During this time she has become an invaluable member of staff in delivering inclusive education and physical activity provision.
In the past 12 months, Suzi has volunteered on the disability programme ‘Transition Help For Communities’ and has been invaluable to the support of classroom and sports activities for staff and participants.
In addition, Suzi has also been involved in the ‘Access to Volunteering’ programme in Enfield which supports young disabled people to develop the skills and confidence to be able to gain volunteering and employment opportunities.
Suzi has always been reliable, cheerful and approachable in all of her volunteering roles and successfully builds a strong rapport with project participants.
To date, Suzi has volunteered nearly 200 hours, all whilst building her confidence and skills set.
