Over the next six years, the Foundation will be creating opportunities for people to sign up to an array of apprenticeship schemes, from sports coaching to hospitality, as well as accredited skills schemes such as The Great Grass Project.

In addition, White Hart Lane will be opening its doors for job fairs and open days, helping to signpost people to job vacancies in the local area and offering advice on CV writing and interview techniques.

What's being said about our job fairs and apprenticeship schemes...

On the jobs fairs...

“The Tottenham Hotspur job fair was a great opportunity for us to advertise our positions to the local community. We interviewed several candidates and were delighted to offer an administrative position to someone who has now started work for us and is settling in well,” Michelle McAuliffe, Ardmore Construction.

On the apprenticeships and accredited schemes...

“The Great Grass programme was brilliant for me. I had been out of work for several months so I found the employability skills really useful. The skills I learned really helped me to prepare for the interview and selection process for the Sports Coaching Apprenticeship,” Jesse Appiah, Great Grass student, Tottenham.

On the opportunities the new stadium development can bring...

“It was great to be involved in the launch of the fantastic new (Sainsbury’s) store which has created new jobs for local people in an area of high unemployment. It marks the first step in our regeneration plans for the area,” Ledley King, Club Ambassador.
