The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a programme where young people enrol to be accredited for positive things they are doing or want to do in their lives. To gain an award young people must take part in a sport, a volunteering opportunity and develop a skill.
Our 2015 Celebration honours our 33 young people who achieved a Bronze or Silver Award. This event will give you insight on how our young people achieved their awards as well as give interested young people the opportunity to enrol on the programme.
The Foundation is one of over 1200 licensed organisations which run the programme through which young people can gain a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award. Between April 2014 – March 2015, over 100,000 young people in the UK gained an award.
