What We Do

  • Enfield Teen Scheme

The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation is delighted to announce that the Enfield Teen Scheme will be running throughout 2017. The Scheme provides opportunities for young people with special educational needs and disabilities aged 14+ to take part in a range of sports and leisure activities. Activities will take place at the Learning Disability Centre of Excellence at Barnet and Southgate College.

    What are the benefits?

    •  It enables us to work with and support young people and their families during the holiday periods.
    • Young people are supported to make the transition from local schools to Barnet and Southgate College.
    • Families are able to view the facilities at the Learning Disability Centre of Excellence and young people become familiar with them before potentially starting a course.

Sports that will delivered include: football, basketball, boccia, cricket, hockey, tennis, table tennis, new age kurling, athletics and multi-skills games.

The cost is £35 per day. This may be paid using your Short Breaks Grant, by the Joint Service for Disabled Children (if this been agreed following an assessment), or self-funded by your family

Participants need to bring a packed lunch, plenty of water and clothing suitable for playing a sport.
