1    THURSDAY

1963    We beat OFK Belgrade 3-1 at White Hart Lane to complete a 5-2 aggregate win that takes us into the final of the European Cup Winners’ Cup.

1999    Ledley King makes his Spurs debut as substitute at Liverpool. Despite leading 2-0 at half-time we lose 3-2 after Mauricio Taricco is sent off.  Brad Friedel plays for Liverpool along with fellow future Spurs Jamie Redknapp and Oyvind Leonhardsen.

2    FRIDAY

1998    A timely 6-2 win at Wimbledon to help ease our relegation fears. Jurgen Klinsmann nets four while Mousa Saib (pictured, above) scores his only Spurs goal.

2012    Luka Modric hits his last Spurs goal – in a 4-1 triumph at Bolton.

3    SATURDAY

Alex Pritchard’s 21st birthday.

WEST HAM UNITED v SPURS, Barclays Premier League, at Upton Park, 12.45pm

1972    Martin Chivers scores twice as we return from Molineux with a 2-1 advantage in the first leg of our UEFA Cup Final with Wolves.
