Talented central midfielder Zenon has now stepped up to Under-21 level after a couple of solid seasons with our Under-18s.
In 2015-16, he made 20 league appearances for the Under-18s and scored once - on the opening day of the season at home to Brighton & Hove Albion.
He also started both of our FA Youth Cup matches and by the end of the campaign he was featuring regularly for the Under-21s, occasionally filling in at left-back. In all he made eight league appearances at that level and came off the bench once in the Premier League Under-21 International Cup.
A right-footer, Zenon attended Edmonton County School and joined our Academy set-up at the age of seven.
He previously played for Omonia Youth FC and featured regularly for our Under-16s in 2013-14, scoring six goals. He also made the step up to Under-18 level for the first time during that campaign, appearing three times. His first start came in a 2-2 draw against Southampton in May, 2014.
He became a regular for our Under-18s in 2014-15, making 25 appearances in the league and playing five times as we reached the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup. He often featured on the right side of our midfield operation in the latter competition.
Also able to fill in at centre-half, the Edmonton-born midfielder was part of the sides that secured silverware in the Premier League Under-18 Champions Cup and IMG Cup in Florida in the latter months of 2014.
He also made two substitute appearances for our Under-21s towards the end of the 2014-15 season, featuring against Sunderland and Everton.
