Attacking left-back Nick Tsaroulla made real progress with our Under-18s in 2016-17.
The starting left-back in our run to the FA Youth Cup semi-finals and a member of the squad that lifted the IMG Cup in Florida in December, 2016, Nick played 18 games in the Under-18 Premier League, scoring in a 3-0 win at Everton in May, 2017. Having played as a winger in his younger days, he showed a willingness to drive forward down his flank and even experimented with an attacking central midfield role in the latter stages of that campaign.
He also stepped up to start twice for our Under-23s in the Premier League 2.
Born in Bristol but raised in Winchmore Hill, Nick is a former pupil of Southgate School and played for Whetstone Wanderers before joining the Club.
He was part of our squad that won tournaments in South Korea and Latvia in 2014-15, while his Under-18s bow for the Club came in a 2-0 win at home to Leicester City in March, 2015. That was as a substitute, but he started our penultimate league match of that campaign against West Bromwich Albion.
He enjoyed a solid first full season with our Under-18s in 2015-16, making 15 league appearances at that level, scoring in a 2-1 home win over Southampton in November, 2015, and appearing in both of our FA Youth Cup ties.
