A central midfielder with a fine range of passing, Charlie played a key role for our Under-18s in 2015-16 and has now stepped up into the Under-21s reckoning.
Last season he made 22 league starts for the Under-18s and scored three goals, while also starting both of our FA Youth Cup ties.
He also made one substitute appearance in the league for our Under-21s and came off the bench in the Premier League Under-21 International Cup match against Everton in August, 2015.
Born and raised in Islington, Charlie joined us when he was 10 having previously played for Clissold Rangers youth team. He attended St Ignatius College in Enfield and has represented Northern Ireland at Under-19 level.
His breakthrough in our Under-18s side came in 2013-14 as he featured on two occasions. Appearing as a substitute against Southampton, he made his first start in our final game of that season against Aston Villa.
Charlie became a regular for our Under-18s in 2014-15, starting 16 times in the league and appearing once more from the bench, while also appearing four times in the FA Youth Cup.
He was part of the side that won the IMG Cup in Florida in December, 2014, and made his Under-21s debut as a substitute on the final day of 2014-15 at Everton.
