1. When and where are the leagues held?
The Leagues will run every Tuesday evening for 18 weeks at our Spurs Lodge Training Facility in Chigwell, Essex.
2. What time do the matches kick off?
The first match kicks off at 6.15pm with the last match starting at 8.30pm. It is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your kick-off time.
3. How long is each match?
14 minutes per half so 28 minutes in total.
4. How long is a season?
18 weeks for a ten team league – you play against each team twice.
5. How many leagues are there?
There are 3 leagues - Premier - SOLD OUT, Division 1 and Division 2 with promotion and relegation at the end of each season.
6. Is there a joining fee?
There is joining fee of £20.00 for the Spurs A-League.
7. What is the cost of playing?
The match fee is £36.00 per team each week. A full payment can be made prior to the start of the season which includes a 10% discount.
8. How can I join?
Please complete the online booking form as soon as possible. Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.
9. Can I join if the season has already started?
You can join as long as there is a place open. We can put you on the waiting list and then contact you if a position becomes available.
10. Are the leagues affiliated?
Yes, they have all been affiliated with Essex County Football Association.
11. What about referees?
Every match will be refereed by a fully qualified official.
12. How many players can we use?
You may bring a maximum of 9 players to each game; a goalkeeper, 5 outfield players and up to 3 substitutes for a 6-a-side match. You may sign up to 12 players to your squad.
13. What facilities do you have?
All games will be played indoors on our 3G astro-turf pitches. There are toilets plus plenty of free car parking spaces available.
14. What do we wear for each match?
You should wear your stated team colours as well as correct footwear (astro-turf trainers or moulded/bladed boots only. No screw-in studs). Shin guards are compulsory.
15. What do you get for winning the league?
There is a team trophy for the winners from each league and both the winners and runners up receive individual medals. These will be presented on the final week.
16. Are there any other prizes awarded?
Not only will you received the above prizes but you will also be given matchday tickets to a home game at White Hart Lane during the 2013/2014 Season (Fixture to be confirmed)
